Her transformation was a testament to the impact that service can have on a young person’s life. In honor of her legacy, this work continues — to create opportunities for others to grow, connect, and find meaning through community support and compassion.

Academic Scholarships

The Aaliyah Rose Scholarship honors the legacy of Aaliyah Rose, celebrating her unwavering resiliency, deep commitment to community service, and exceptional leadership.

This scholarship recognizes a student who embodies these same core values — someone who has demonstrated strength through adversity, made a meaningful impact through volunteerism, and shown leadership within their community.

The recipient will be a shining example of perseverance, service, and inspiring others through their actions.

Financial assistance for foster families

We provide financial assistance to foster families in need of extra support or respite care. This support can help cover the cost of respite providers or other approved services that ease the demands of caregiving during times of stress, transition, or burnout. Our goal is to help foster families stay strong, supported, and focused on providing safe, loving homes.

Little Free Pantries

A Little Free Pantry is a small, community-based cupboard designed to provide immediate, local access to essential items such as non-perishable food, hygiene products, and basic household supplies. These pantries operate on a simple principle: “Give what you can, take what you need.” They are open to all, with no application process or qualifications required. By offering a discreet and accessible way to share resources, Little Free Pantries foster a spirit of generosity, dignity, and mutual support within the community.

Love, Aaliyah is a program created in memory of Aaliyah — whose journey showed us just how much a child’s sense of security can be tied to having something of their own..

We collect and distribute:

Gently used or new suitcases, backpacks, and duffel bags
Brand new stuffed animals and blankets
Brand new personal care items (hair accessories, room decor, items for hobbies, books, toys, photo albums, etc.)

Each donation helps give a child a sense of dignity, ownership, and comfort during some of the hardest times of their lives.

This program honors Aaliyah’s memory — and carries forward her legacy of strength and hope.
